Who runs the world? Women in internal audit! In collaboration with the Insurance Internal Audit Group's (IIAG) annual fall conference in Philadelphia, Baker Tilly will be hosting the first women in internal audit leadership summit.
For female internal auditors in the insurance space, a lot has changed over the years. Based on the 2023 North American Pulse of Internal Audit report released by the Institute of Internal Auditors, about 44% of chief audit executives (CAEs) across several industries are women, and about 49% of those women are either Gen X or Millennials. Those in positions of leadership bear the responsibility of navigating executive leadership, audit committees, team management, work/home life balance and trying to ensure coverage over the company’s key critical risks and challenges. On Oct. 3-4, prior to IIAG’s annual fall conference, female internal auditors will have a chance to come together to discuss the challenges and successes of being an emerging leader in the insurance internal audit space, including the intricacies of balancing life at home.
This event will include networking, roundtables and a panel discussion showcasing female (and allies) internal auditors working at major insurance organizations, each offering unique industry perspectives. Join the conversation, forge new pathways, enjoy good food, drinks and gorgeous views of Philadelphia from the Baker Tilly office – register now.
This event is intended only for female professionals working in internal audit at an insurance organization.
