Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues are becoming increasingly important. While ESG-related matters have been a focal point internationally for some time, ESG is now a trending topic for U.S. governmental entities and corporations alike and is expected to only grow in significance and priority. This session will offer insight into how to identify, plan for and address ESG-related issues and will assist leaders with planning, risk management and policy considerations.

Lease accounting and beyond. What you need to know to prepare for upcoming Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) standards  

With GASB 87 effective for year-end 2022 reporting, we will discuss action steps to take now. We will also look forward to new accounting standards for software, public-private or public-public partnerships, and compensated absences to facilitate proper planning for implementation. Finally, we will discuss any other standards issued by GASB this year.
