Join Baker Tilly’s outsourced accounting and not-for-profit tax specialists for a pre-conference session at the Exponent Philanthropy Annual Conference in Austin. Attendees will gain insight on the ins and outs of the Form 990-PF and benefits of outsourcing the organization’s accounting functions. This session will provide best practice guidance for the preparation of the entire Form 990-PF, including important recommendations regarding undertaking the accounting for a private foundation to ensure accurate and efficient 990-PF preparation. Specifically, attendees will:

• Review a sample Form 990-PF line-by-line with private foundation tax experts to gain a thorough understanding of the form
• Have the opportunity to review your foundation’s form and ask targeted questions that affect your foundation
• Receive tips for your foundation to make your Form 990-PF more secure and keep trustees out of trouble with the IRS
• Identify mistakes on your foundation’s form and know what to do to fix them

• 8:30 - 9 am: Registration and Breakfast
• 9 am - 12:15 pm: Line-by-line analysis of the Form 990-PF
• 12:15 - 1:30 pm: Lunch
• 1:30 - 4:00 pm: Line-by-line analysis of the Form 990-PF
• 5:30 pm: Exponent Philanthropy Annual Conference Meet & Greet reception

Participants who attend the seminar in its entirety are eligible to receive 6.5 CPE credits or hours of instruction in the area of Taxes.
