Join Baker Tilly partners Noah Leiden and Peter Lauria on March 20 and 21, 2019 as they present a two-day Due Diligence of Business Systems Implementations class as part of Federal Publications upcoming Orlando Government Contracts Week in Orlando, Florida.
Through interactive discussion, Noah and Peter will address the attributes of successful ERP implementations through the involvement of IT, government compliance, and necessary back office operations. The class will examine the full lifecycle of a system implementation and identify best practices associated with capturing requirements, evaluating ERP system alternatives, developing designs, and completing the full implementation including data integration and applicable testing, while maintaining focus on federal compliance consideration. During the two day class, participants will understand:
- How to evaluate system options based on IT functionality, regulatory capability needs, and integration requirements
- The importance of operational stakeholders throughout the process to identify requirements and ensure a successful implementation
- The inclusion of compliance professionals throughout the implementation to ensure appropriate emphasis on policies, procedures, internal controls and compliant accounting practices
We look forward to seeing you at what is sure to be an engaging session on due diligence of business systems.
