The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA), a clean energy and climate action bill signed into law in August 2022, has accelerated sustainable design and construction, aimed at decarbonizing buildings. During this session, panelists will dive into:

• Client conversations – understanding the project goals and expectations and how the IRA impacts the project budget
• Financial advisor as a project stakeholder
• What documentation is likely be to be part of the certified project costs
• How the project team needs to work together to produce the documentation (i.e., what needs to be included the specifications/construction documents)

Panelists will discuss a “for-profit” and a “non-profit” (i.e., school) types of clients.
