Scott McCrillis is a tax principal in our state and local tax group, a practice within Baker Tilly’s specialty tax team. Scott is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience, during which he gained specialization in the indirect tax arena.

Scott’s experience includes conducting sales and use tax and telecommunication tax refund reviews, implementing procurement companies, negotiating state and local tax incentives, performing managed audits, defending companies against state tax audit assessments, as well as conducting extensive research involving a wide range of indirect taxation issues.

During his career, Scott has served clients in the manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, software and homebuilding industries. Scott’s clients are multistate and multinational, so he works with clients in every state in the U.S.
