Robin advises clients in all areas of international tax. He provides inbound and outbound tax advisory services for publicly-traded and privately-held companies, private equity funds/groups, and high-net-worth individuals.

  • Serves  a variety of industries,  including  aerospace and defense,  apparel and retail,  asset fund management and investment funds, biotechnology and life sciences, consumer products, manufacturing, entertainment, technology, private equity and venture capitalists, social media  and real estate 
  • Particular emphasis in the following international tax areas: 
    -Offshore IP holding companies and supply chain planning/restructurings 
    -Cross-border M&A, including pre-acquisition planning, tax due diligence  and post-acquisition integration planning 
    -U.S. anti-deferral planning (i.e. subpart F provisions and GILTI) 
    -Foreign tax credit optimization strategies 
    -Income tax treaty interpretation and analysis 
    -Effectively connected income to a U.S. trade or business analyses and planning, including FIRPTA 
  • Advises  clients  on  U.S. international tax implications for ASC 740 reporting purposes 
  • Deep understanding of all U.S. international tax filings to ensure clients comply with the constantly changing and increasingly more complex U.S. international tax and transfer pricing filing/disclosure requirements
