David has more than 25 years of experience consulting on business valuation engagements, including the valuation of common equity, partnership interests, corporate debt, preferred stock, and corporate assets on matters related to bankruptcy, shareholder disputes, contract arbitration, tax planning, financial reporting and strategic planning. He has served clients in energy, natural resources, manufacturing, business services, financial services, consumer products, retail and other industries. His experience includes addressing solvency and valuation issues on high profile, multibillion dollar complex litigation and bankruptcy assignments, He has testified as an expert in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

  • Financial advisor to the Disinterested Directors of the Seadrill Limited Board of Directors. Provided analysis of solvency and reasonably equivalent value as part of an investigation of potential causes of action.
  • Financial Advisor to the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, Inc. (CEOC), in the CEOC bankruptcy. Provided analysis of solvency and reasonably equivalent value, as part of an investigation of potential causes of action.
  • Provided expert testimony in U.S. Bankruptcy Court on behalf of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Oneida Ltd., in a plan confirmation hearing concerning the value of the debtor.
  • Provided expert reports and deposition testimony on behalf of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Quebecor World (USA) Inc. in a preference action concerning balance sheet solvency
  • Provided financial advisory services to the Examiner in the Residential Capital LLC (ResCap) Chapter 11 case in his investigation of potential causes of action arising from transactions between ResCap and affiliates.
  • Advised counsel to the litigation trust of Tronox Inc. on solvency, reasonably equivalent value and damages in fraudulent conveyance claims in connection with its spin-off from Kerr McGee Corp.
  • Advised counsel for a group of banks in the matter of Enron Creditors Recovery Group, Inc., et al. v. Citigroup, Inc.,
  • Advised counsel for the official unsecured creditors’ committee of Lyondell Chemical Company concerning adequacy of capital and ability to pay debts.
