Daniel D. Golish

Daniel is a director with Baker Tilly’s global forensic and litigation service. Dan has more than 20 years of experience in a wide array of accounting and finance areas. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, he was a partner at a national accounting firm. He currently specializes in the areas of litigation advisory services and business valuations, helping clients in financial reporting matters, divorce cases, mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, succession and estate planning and strategic planning.

In addition, Dan assists his clients in transaction advisory matters where he focuses on advising buyers and sellers in the deal process.

  • Performs business valuations for divorce purposes, estate and gift planning, financial reporting, and strategic planning
  • Assists family law attorneys in various financial facets of the divorce process, including division of assets and asset tracing
  • Computes economic damages in complex commercial litigation matters
  • Computes personal damages in litigation involving wrongful termination, personal injury, and wrongful death
  • Offers financial expert testimony in litigation matters
  • Advises buyers and sellers in the merger and acquisition process in the areas of financial due diligence, quality of earnings, working capital assistance, deal structuring, and contract negotiation support
