CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. (April 6, 2017) – Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is proud to serve as a major corporate sponsor of Ryan’s Run 8, the annual campaign of Allied Services Integrated Health System to raise funds for children and adults with disabilities across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
“Ryan’s Run has become near and dear to our team members in Pennsylvania and firmwide, and it is rewarding for us to see how the money we raise is used to purchase cutting-edge rehab technology to help so many individuals,” Mark Ross, Baker Tilly’s healthcare practice leader, said. “We look forward to being a part of this year’s campaign and applaud Allied Services and all donors for their continuous involvement and support.”
Since Ryan’s Run began, Baker Tilly has raised and donated more than $100,000 to Allied Services. Annually, a team member of the firm leads fundraising efforts throughout the year and runs in the TCS New York City Marathon in November. Paraprofessional Laura Robson represented Baker Tilly as the firm’s marathon runner in Ryan’s Run 7, completing her first marathon. The campaign in total raised more than $500,000 in 2016.
On November 5, WNEP TV’s Ryan Leckey and 50 other runners will complete the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon, which will mark the conclusion of the Ryan’s Run 8 campaign. Baker Tilly’s Ryan’s Run 8 runner representative will be Kelly Seeger, a staff consultant on the firm’s healthcare consulting team.
