EB-5 Securities Laws and the Role of a Broker Dealer

EB-5 investments meet the U.S. Supreme Court's definition of a "security" because it's considered a private placement. Given all the regulations surrounding EB-5, it's critical that all foreign investors work with a licensed broker dealer to ensure compliance with U.S. securities laws, and to mitigate the various risks associated with private placements.
