Preparing for healthcare price transparency: what providers and payers need to know

Many healthcare provider and payer organizations are uncertain how they will manage the new price transparency requirements and position themselves for success in a more transparent environment. Although there is a possibility that the Jan. 1, 2021 effective date could be pushed back by litigation, organizations should not be taking a “wait-and-see” approach, but should be using this time to prepare and think about the broad and strategic implication this means for their patients, organization and the industry.

Join Baker Tilly for an informative discussion about how healthcare providers and payers can prepare for the upcoming federal pricing transparency regulations. Our team of Value Architects™ will discuss:

  • An overview of the pricing transparency Executive Orders and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized regulations
  • How organizations can successfully implement the new price transparency requirements
  • What providers and payers should be doing now, to prepare for implementation
  • Additional items organizations should consider
