Each session will consist of a blend of speakers, interactive Q&A, participant commentary and opportunities for participant discussions in smaller group breakout rooms.

Dates and times:
  • Tuesday, Nov. 10, 4:30 – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 12, 1 – 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1 – 4 p.m.

Learning objectives:

  • Gain clarity about board/senior leadership risk management expectations, perspectives and roles relative to risk management
  • Identify leading practices from other institutions’ risk management approaches and ERM programs
  • Highlight emerging risks likely to impact the resiliency of higher education institutions
  • Identify lessons learned from corporate risk management programs
Who should attend?

Individuals leading university or college risk management-related efforts (e.g., leaders of existing and emerging ERM programs, institutional compliance, internal audit, general counsel, and other related and supporting roles) and the executives to whom they report. More than one individual may attend from the same institution. We invite anyone with risk management-related responsibilities within institutions of higher learning, regardless of position or role, to participate.
