Kyle O’Rourke, Manager, will host a panel discussion called “IT risk: case studies in the public sector.” During this session, panelists will discuss examples of identifying and analyzing risk and designing audit procedures for common IT internal audit activities including business continuity, disaster recovery and social media.

About the presenters
Bob Sprague is a partner in Baker Tilly’s national forensic, litigation and valuation services group. His practice encompasses a wide spectrum of financial consulting matters spanning multiple industries and client types. Bob works closely with corporate stakeholders, in-house and outside counsel on forensic and fraud investigations with a particular emphasis on SEC enforcement matters and fraudulent financial statements. His experience also includes litigation and audit support and proactive compliance-related work, such as anti-corruption assessments, on behalf of public and private companies.
Mumta Taneja is a manager within the risk, internal audit and cybersecurity practice. She has more than 13 years of experience providing expertise for internal audit activities and internal control compliance. Her current clients are primarily in the manufacturing, higher education, and food and beverage industries. Mumta is also the chair of the Chicago Chapter IIA Annual Seminar marketing committee.
Kyle O’Rourke is a manager on Baker Tilly’s state and local government consulting team. He provides a variety of services to public sector clients including internal audit and risk consulting, business process reviews, organizational and operational assessments, benchmarking studies and technology needs assessments. Kyle is also the IIA Chicago Chapter’s Government Advisory Committee secretary and a nominating committee member.
Krista Caprini is a senior manager with Baker Tilly Search & Staffing.
