2020 Financial Ratios and Trends for Continuing Care Retirement Communities

The Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)/Life Plan Community (LPC) industry has seen numerous changes, faces several market challenges and continues to evolve to meet the needs of a growing aging population. Explore key financial benchmarks for the industry that reveal Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)-accredited organizations have a solid financial standing from which to weather the COVID-19 crisis. Areas of concern like recent pressures on single-site profitability will also be discussed. The 2019 ratios will serve as a valuable baseline from which the effects of COVID-19 on senior living financial metrics will be measured.

Join CARF International, Ziegler, Baker Tilly US, Presbyterian SeniorCare Network and St. Catherine’s Village for a discussion on understanding and utilizing financial benchmarks to inform strategic planning and budget development. Discussion will include how to share this information with key stakeholders including prospects, residents, boards and payers.
