Baker Tilly hosts interactive workshop on fraud investigation, detection, and prevention. MILWAUKEE, WI – In an effort to educate industry professionals on how to fight against the risks of fraud, Baker Tilly is hosting a two-hour interactive workshop on fraud investigation, detection, and prevention. The free workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 5 at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel. Breakfast and networking is from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., with the program following from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The workshop is a specially designed, interactive discussion on fraud, including strategies for investigation and fraud risk management. Baker Tilly professionals will use a case study and their expertise to introduce various fraud topics and increase the fraud awareness in your company. The case study will be used as a basis for a fraud investigation that facilitates group learning and critical thinking skills for all finance professionals and internal auditors. Topics covered will include identification of fraud risk areas, development of investigation strategy, and introduction to fraud risk management.
