Robena Jafari

Robena Jafari is a tax partner and leader of Baker Tilly’s specialty tax team and Washington Tax Council.

Baker Tilly’s specialty tax team brings together the practices of accounting methods, credit and incentive advisory services, fixed assets, global customs and trade, global mobility services, international indirect tax, international private wealth, international tax advisory, IRS advocacy and controversy, research and development credits, state and local tax advisory services, tax automation, transactional tax advisory services and transfer pricing.

Baker Tilly’s Washington tax council provides technical guidance to practitioners across the firm and support on complex matters across diverse technical areas: compensation and benefits, corporate tax, international tax, partnership tax, private client services, state and local tax services, and tax accounting methods.

She is responsible for leadership and management, in addition to developing, implementing strategy and driving growth for both teams.

Robena also serves as a member of Baker Tilly’s tax leadership team, and as a board member of Baker Tilly’s global tax solutions, an integrated solution that offers coordinated tax advisory and tax compliance services across global geographies.
