Nirav Badani is a partner and has been with Baker Tilly since 2009. Since joining Baker Tilly, Nirav has been a key contributor to the firm’s financial services industry practice. He has gained value added experience by providing audit and assurance services to publicly and privately held clients in the financial services sector throughout his career.
- Responsible for co-managing the firm’s Western region financial services practice which includes a variety of diversified financial institutions including asset management companies, specialty finance institutions and real estate services companies
- Performs integrated audits in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley and PCAOB guidelines and complex accounting and SEC reporting
- Performs compliance engagements, quarterly reviews and year-end audits of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Manages the financial reporting process with the client, including the implementation of new relevant disclosures based upon FASB accounting standards updates
- Assists clients with maintaining compliance with SEC, FINRA and HUD regulations
- Manages complex issues such as business combinations, asset-backed securitizations, structured finance instruments and share based compensation
