Lauri has nearly 20 years of accounting experience and has a strong background in alternative investments inclusive of funds and structured finance vehicles. She joined Baker Tilly in 2014.
- Leads her team in serving a variety of types of funds sponsored by asset managers around the world, using a variety of fund structures
- Works with registered investment advisors (RIAs), investment vehicles including fund of funds, public and private funds, and alternative asset funds, and investment management companies
- Works with private offshore banks, established operating companies and other related special purpose entities.
-Notably, securitization structures and catastrophe bonds issued via special purpose reinsurance vehicles - Works with both IFRS and U.S. GAAP and other specialization including accounting for complex financial instruments such commodity derivatives, foreign currencies, securitization structures, and other illiquid securities
