Lauren Hayes is a partner with Baker Tilly’s financial services practice. She has been in public accounting since 2008. Her primary disciplines include financial statement attestation and employee benefit plan audits. Lauren has a dedicated focus on investment companies including private equity, venture capital, and related management companies. She assists clients with investment company-specific accounting and reporting issues, as well as valuation methodology and standard operating practices in the investment industry. Additionally, Lauren has extensive experience with employee benefit plans, including defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, and health and welfare plans for both public and non-public companies. Through this practice, Lauren has aided clients with complex investment reporting and valuation, plan document compliance reviews, and related plan document compliance corrections. In addition to investment companies and employee benefit plans, Lauren has experience in the service and retail communication industries.
