Prior to joining Baker Tilly, she was an experienced consultant in the consulting practice of a global professional services firm. • Worked with a multi-billion dollar telecommunications manufacturing company to perform a supplier performance and practices review. A review of the terms and conditions of the initial contract between the client and their outsource supplier was conducted as well as a review of the client’s internal policies and control practices to manage their subcontractor. To assist in determining the gaps and issues involved between the two parties, the team created a data model to recreate the order history specific to the outsourcer during the timeframe of the contractual relationship. The overall intent of the review was to determine what the potential financial liability the client was exposed to, in addition to determining where along the contractual relationship did gaps in the supplier policies and procedures contribute to the financial exposure. Key areas of focus included outsourcing contract evaluation, event simulation, data modeling and validation, analysis of supply chain management practices, and presentation of key findings.
  • Participated in the analysis and reconciliation of the inter-company differences of a $2 billion tool manufacturer. Facilitated sessions with key accounting personnel to define their current business processes and issues. Conducted extensive electronic data analysis using both Microsoft Access and INTERSOLV DataDirect. Analyzed over eight million financial records that accounted for over a year of financial business activity. Resulted in resolution of inter-company differences in the amount of $15 million. Identified process improvement areas throughout their financial department. Trained key client personnel on their ERP package, DataDirect, and Microsoft Access.
  • Led services teams involved in a cost management program at a multi-billion dollar telecommunication company in the review of their existing cost data and the current performance measures used to run the business. Facilitated sessions with key stakeholders in the services area to re-design and define the needed data elements and sources and define the critical measurements of the service area needed to make effective and informed management decisions.
