Jason G. Semler joined the firm in 1999 and is a partner in the public sector practice group.

Jason’s practice includes economic development work that involves developing diverse revenue sources, such as tax increment financing (TIF) and local option income taxes, examining taxing units’ assessed values and their respective abatements, and the financial planning associated with the issuance of both tax-exempt and taxable bonds. He also has assisted communities with their capital project planning efforts and analyzed the estimated impacts that recent and proposed property tax regulations could have on various clients.
