Dr. Leatherman is a managing director at Baker Tilly and has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector. His career has focused on analysis and strategy around the nexus of business strategy, technology, and regulatory policy. His work helps to shape the thinking of industry and governments around the world on critical energy issues and systems including renewables, distributed energy resources, microgrids, transactive energy/energy marketplaces and their interplay with energy economics, environmental regulations, and business.
In addition, he also provides clients with sound technical, programmatic, and strategic insights into business and technology issues and how these issues may influence the business and mission of client organizations.
