Ed Mahon is a principal in Baker Tilly’s business advisory services practice. His primary focus is strategy and management consulting which disciplines include growth strategy, market and commercial due diligence, market entry assessment, deep data analysis, profitability improvement and strategic planning. He leads Baker Tilly’s ESG strategy and implementation team focused on helping clients achieve their sustainability and ESG needs and goals. Ed’s focus includes private equity funds and businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, building materials, B2B services and technology industries.

  • Environmental, social and governance (ESG) leadership team focused on ESG strategy, implementation and reporting
  • Develops organizations’ ESG strategy and approach as well as subsequent reporting and action plans
  • Prior to joining the firm, Ed founded and operated a boutique strategy consulting firm focused on lower middle-market companies and family offices
  • Previous experience includes four years as a strategy consultant and consulting engagement manager at an international strategy consulting firm in their London office, working with clients across a broad range of industries and functions
  • Professional experience in a variety of finance functions including equity research, merger and acquisition advisory and hedge fund analysis
