Chris is a principal in Baker Tilly’s state and local tax practice specializing in indirect taxes.
Chris has more than 13 years of experience specializing in state and local taxes with a primary focus in sales and use tax among other indirect taxes. Chris’ experience spans multiple industries and across all states and includes audit representation, performing managed audits, refund reviews and reverse audits, sales and use compliance, M&A due diligence, performing nexus/exposure studies, as well as conducting extensive research involving a wide range of sales and use taxation issues.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Chris spent four years at Ryan, Inc. in their Sales Tax practice. During his career, Chris has served clients in a number of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, oil and gas and software/SAAS.
