CHICAGO – Timothy L. Christen, CEO of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, has been re-elected treasurer of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) during the organization’s Annual Membership Meeting.
WMC originated in 1911 and is dedicated to promoting a healthy business climate in Wisconsin. Currently, the association has nearly 4,000 members that include both large and small manufacturers, service companies, local chambers of commerce, and specialized trade associations.
In addition to his involvement with WMC, Christen is Chair of the Major Firms Group of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the Baker Tilly International Board of Directors, and a member of the Baker Tilly North American Regional Advisory Council. He has been recognized by Accounting Today as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the accounting profession, and as one of the five Most Admired Peers by fellow Major Firm Managing Partners, according to Inside Public Accounting.
