The Carlsbad (California) City Council unanimously voted to explore outsourcing of city park maintenance activities after Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, identified $1.7 to $3.8 million in projected savings annually, part of 48 opportunities with a range of $2.3 to $4.7 million in estimated potential savings within the department.
