Nicki Donlon, CPA, is a member of the Firm’s Higher Education / Not-for-Profit / Governmental Services Group and resides in the Minneapolis Office. Donlon works with a variety of not-for-profit and health care organizations providing audit and advisory services to her clients. She also serves on the Board of Directors of two not-for-profit organizations in which she advises these organizations regarding their day-to-day operations and financial policies and procedures. Donlon received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with a minor in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Various other industry organizations Donlon belongs to include the Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association, Minnesota Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Nonprofit Financial Group of the Twin Cities.
James Drumm, CPA, is the Regional Leader of the Construction and Real Estate Services Group and resides in the Detroit Office. Drumm specializes in audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements, as well as providing a variety of financial consulting services. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Construction Financial Management Association, Michigan Housing Council and is the Vice Chairman Board of Directors for St. Matthews Lutheran Church and School. Drumm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.
Joshua Ganshert, CPA, resides in the Madison Office and is a member of the firm’s Construction and Real Estate Services Group. He manages tax engagements for real estate investors and developers, hotel contractors, and income tax credit deals along with providing income planning services to clients serving single family, multifamily, and commercial sectors of the real estate market. Ganshert holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and a Master’s of Science in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Ganshert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kimberly Ginn, CPA is a member of the Higher Education and Research Institutions industry practice. She has more than twelve years of experience helping organizations enhance their business processes, reduce costs, design robust and compliant infrastructures, and navigate myriad federal regulations that affect higher education and research institutions and government contractors. Ginn holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama – Birmingham. She is a Certified Internal Auditor and is located in the DC Office.
Robert M. Hull,CPA, is a member of the firm’s Federal Tax Compliance and Consulting Group and resides in the Chicago Office. Hull has fifteen years of experience working primarily with middle-market public and privately-held businesses and has a strong technical understanding of corporate, partnership, and limited liability companies and individual tax matters of federal and state law. Hull is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, Chicago Building Congress, and Executives Club of Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University – Bloomington and a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University – Chicago.
Andrew Katz, CPA, is located in the DC Office where he provides tax, accounting, and business advisory services to real estate developers and institutional real estate owners. He has extensive experience advising private equity real estate investment funds. His work with real estate developers includes tax planning related to federal and state tax incentives, conversion of real estate appreciation from ordinary income to capital gains, and troubled debt structuring. Katz is a frequent lecturer on partnership tax planning matters. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, and earned a Master of Science in Taxation from the Kogod School of Business at American University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Katz is the co-leader of the Firm’s Real Estate and Construction Industry Tax Initiative.
Mark Kiecker, CPA specializes in serving small and mid-sized manufacturing and distribution companies with audits, taxation, and merger and acquisition transactions and is a member of the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Group. Kiecker is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He holds an IFRS Certification and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Production and Inventory Control Society, and Minnesota Precision Manufacturer’s Association. Kiecker resides in the Minneapolis Office.
Eric J. Kroll, CPA, is a member of the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution team in the Madison Office where he specializes in serving both public registrants and private companies with auditing and accounting services. He also manages and coordinates numerous international audit engagements. Kroll holds an IFRS certification and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola University – Chicago.
Noah Leiden, CPA, has been with the firm since 2010 and has over twenty years of consulting experience serving manufacturing, engineering, professional services, information and communications, healthcare, higher education, and non-profit organizations. Leiden has extensive experience providing a range of government contract accounting, pricing, business system and internal control oversight, and regulatory and contract compliance to his clients. Leiden is located in the DC Office where he is involved with the American Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Contract Management Association, and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Michael J. Patti is a member of the Consulting Group in the Chicago Office. Patti has over twelve years of experience and focuses on custom software development in the health insurance industry, covering claims processing, contract pricing, and provider reimbursement systems. Patti also has experience in financial process and system design and implementation projects, data warehousing, business intelligence, legacy systems to ERP process and data integration, and shared service center implementations including work in the Utility, Consumer Package Goods, and Public Sector industries. Patti graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting and management computer systems.
Carver Smith, CPA, is a member of the Baker Tilly Search & Staffing team in Milwaukee. With his extensive background in accounting and human capital, Smith specializes in helping clients find and evaluate top talent at all levels (staff through CFO’s) in the areas of accounting, finance, and tax as well as other management positions, including human resources. Industries include but are not limited to manufacturing, financial services, professional services, insurance, retail, technology, and not-for-profits. Smith is involved in the community as a volunteer with the Children’s Hospital Foundation and First Stage Board of Directors. He is also a Board Member with the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance, both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Brent Wagner, CPA, has extensive public accounting experience serving closely-held businesses and their owners performing accounting, tax, and consulting services. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Wagner is located in Madison, where he is a member of the American institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Wisconsin Auto and Truck Dealer Association.
